Platfform Poétik GRYOO 02 summer 2021

PLATFORM POETIC 2.0 GRYOO summer 2021 is the follow-up project of Platform Poétik 1.0 / 2020 and is part of the intergenerational city festival Park Poétik. The project initiates an artistic dialogue between different artists, organisations and audiences on five contemporary themes. This happens through a growing art installation in the Park Van Vorst and an online interactive poetry map.

During 5 weeks a participative art installation in the form of a poetry forest/mould web will grow in the Park Van Vorst.

It is intended to register and represent what is seen on the spot. It requires both

commitment, and empathy (mental and emotional, intellectual...), and a poetic gaze

Participants in the training cycle are encouraged to discover, investigate and create research and create.

During each episode, there is a guest artist. Each episode brings the participants one step further in the process of creating their own audiovisual poetry as part of a joint realisation.

On this archive site, the Platform Poétik trees are accompanied by the poems and archival films of Park Poétik which are linked to the same theme.

8 impact-reporters recorded the interventions of Park Poétik in a poetic, subjective way and linked this to one of the tree-themes.

5 poets wrote a poem in their own language around one of these themes.
